Our 167th event for the community
On January 15th and 16th Helping Brainz concluded their 11th Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Awareness Session for 45+ students (girls) from PaGE (Ranchi and Hyderabad).
In the 21st century, security and cyber security has become one of the most important parts of our daily lives, as well as at colleges, universities, schools and other educational institutes across the world. From social networking sites to big retailers, businesses are under constant threat from cyber crimes and cyber attacks. This can lead to all kinds of problems which affect both the company or school and its users and customers.
The advent of the digital age has resulted in major changes in how we function as individuals, communities, and nations. In this interconnected world, there are numerous cyber threats to our safety and security. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that we remain aware of our surroundings to ensure that no one can breach our security or cause us harm in any way through the Internet and other computer-based systems.
PaGE stands for Pathways for Girl’s Education is an excellent initiative by Haasini Sai Sri Gurram. The girls (who were mainly from 11-18 age group) were very much enthusiastic and inquisitive, hence we had one of my best session when it comes to interactive-learnings. Few connected with us offline as well, as they want to learn Cybersecurity. We feel we are very much blessed if we are able to create this inquisitiveness. For the first time, we conducted a two-day session on Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Awareness to increase and balance the interactions and we are glad that it was super successful (we measured that success through the effectiveness check that we do towards the end )

This was Helping Brainz’s 11th Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Awareness event and their 167th project. Shraddha’s team at Helping Brainz is on a national mission to dedicate their Saturdays for Cyber Security Awareness and Cyber Security Career Counselling Sessions.
Haasini Sai (Founder, PaGE), Sneha Harsh (Senior Strategic Development Manager, Helping Brainz), Shraddha Khedkar (Project Manager, National Cyber Security and Legal Awareness Sessions, Helping Brainz), Pooja Kulkarni Vaidya (Head of Branding and Advertising, Helping Brainz), Pallabi Bose (Project Manager, Pandemic and Disaster Management and Special Projects), and other faculty members, spoke and led the event from the front.
