Father’s Day Celebration in Nai Duniya Old Age Home.

Really!! Do you think we need a day to celebrate ‘the respect we have for our father’, I completely don’t think so. However for the sake of the day, that again luckily being a weekend, we at HelpingBrainz.Org are planning for an old age home visit. A day with the helpless and abandoned grandpas and grandmas on the occasion of the Father’s Day. Thanks to Dr. Renu Verma and Jyoti Suchye (Project Manager, Elderly Care Projects – HelpingBrainz.Org) for conceptualizing this.

Helping Brainz to show its commitment towards the senior citizens of the country and in its mission to improve the lives of the elderly by providing companionship, is planning to spend a day with the grandpas and grandmas of Nai Duniya, East Azad Nagar, Near Welcome Metro Station on Sunday evening, 19th June 2016 at 3:30 PM. There are around 60 age old people staying in Nai Duniya.
We are also planning to make some donations (grocery items, food materials, clothers, water coolers/purifiers). Our Elderly Care Team did a small research and found that Nai Duniya is really in need of the above mentioned stuffs, so volunteery contributions invited.
[ Helping Brainz’s elderly care team led by Jyoti Suchye (a Sr.Software Engineer in Wipro, Delhi) has been successful in building meaningful relationships with elderly members of the community and broaden their own understanding of various elder-related issues by conducting biweekly visits to retirement homes, daytime elder-care centers and old age homes. ]
